Makers of 'Toad in the Hole' Tables
I first started making tables to help spread the game amongst friends, but overtime this has developed with tables being sent around the whole country from North Yorkshire, to The Midlands, to Wales, to the South Coast and beyond (we have 4 tables on the US East Coast). To date we have made more than 90 tables which have been sold to a mix of Pubs, Clubs and Private Homes. We make tables to order in variety of styles available in plain unfinished white wood, finished with a clear wax oil finish or with a Rustic Oak wax oil finish.
Prices start from £475 which includes lead playing surface and a set of 4 brass ‘toads’.
Postage and packaging is usually an additional £35 within the UK Mainland.

Our Playing Surfaces

We have made a couple of tables with a synthetic surface to order, but the majority of our tables are made with 3.6mm sheet lead fixed onto a solid Marine Ply base. Each hole is reinforced with a lead collar that allows for tapping out to accommodate larger ‘toads’,and for tapping out if the hole closes up over time with wear. This design gives a stable competition standard playing surface equally playable to ‘slider’ and ‘digger in’ techniques. Although each table will take on its own nuances with wear its construction will retain its overall shape well and so will continue to allow a good competitive game encouraging advanced skills such as nudging active ‘toads’ into the hole or ‘rolling in from the side’. (The above table top is one of our pub and competition tables showing 5 years wear).
‘The Lincoln’ table
The ‘Lincoln Table’ is now by far our most popular table. Based on the Lewes World Championships tables used annually for the team competition in Lewes Town Hall. This table has a 3.6mm lead sheet covering secured to a Marine Ply base wood with a wooden chute return system and the brass collecting tray that we first pioneered in 2016. The lead top is supplied loose allowing the incline to be adjusted to your preference, easy table management and replacement if required.
Currently supplied with set of 40mm diameter toads averaging 42g per toad.

The ‘Rustic’ Table
A variation of the ‘Lincoln Table’ specifically designed to be left outdoors in beer garden, yard etc.. with weather treated wood, and a plastic chute designed not to retain water. The illustrated version did not have the brass collecting tray that is now used on this model.

The ‘Sussex Table’
The same specification as the more popular ‘Lincoln Table’ but instead of having ‘the Lincoln Chute’ with a wooden draw with ceramic knob. (as per picture at top of page)
The ‘Toad Pot’

Can be provided for our original 38 mm or the new 40 mm toads
The Toad Hole Tapper
Toad Tappers ‘Splarge’ – a wooden tool for tapping your holes with. 20 cm long with a 35mm diameter and shaped end. Waggle it or tap it to help keep the hole open to toads. £5.89 if supplied with a table.
